How We Got Started
Eagle Action Sportz was founded by three veterans who met while pursuing degrees at USM. Taylor, Kelo, and Cody all worked for the USM Center for Military Veterans, Service Members, and Families part-time while in school.
The three realized there was not much to do in the Hattiesburg area regarding recreational activities and wanted to create something fun for youth as well as adults.
With a background in paintball, they knew the sport could help people of all ages get exercise and develop team-building skills. Eagle Action Sportz opened to the public on August 19th, 2017.
The Field
Six field styles
The field is located north of Hattiesburg, MS off of Highway 49 North. The current site describes six different style fields available for play.
Field styles include a tournament field that changes with the current NXL layout, a 10 man hyperball field, recreational fields, Cowboy Town, a woodsball field, and another recreational field.
Picnic tables are available for relaxing between games and for spectators, with tables under covered staging areas.

Gear, rentals, and paint policy
Guests may bring their own paintball gear as long as it meets safety requirements. Rental gear is available. Paint must be purchased on-site; no outside paint is allowed in the fields.
